Upcoming & Past Weekends

St Margaret's Years 4-6 Father & Daughter Adventure Weekend 2014 Review

It’s always a pleasure to host the girls from St Margaret’s Anglican Girls’ School.  This time the program was a Father & Daughter Fishing & Adventure Weekend.  The weekend commenced on the Friday night of 10 October.  It was the job of the girls to make all the pizzas for dinner.  The fishing and adventure activities commenced Saturday morning.  The group was keen to have fish and chips for dinner, so enough fish was kept for that purpose.  Australian bass was the main catch, but there was a good silver perch caught as well, along with a couple of big catties.  The adventure activities consisted of milk crate climb, abseiling, archery and canoeing or kayaking.  The girls also enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the open fire.  It was a great group of girls and dads...which made it a really relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
