Somerville House Junior School Father & Daughter Fishing & Adventure Weekend 2015 Review

On 13-15 March 2015, the girls from Somerville House Junior School, together with their fathers were involved in a Sports Tuition Fishing and Adventure weekend.  It was a group of 50 and it was great to see a range of ages involved in the program, with the youngest student in Prep.  It was also pleasing to see grandfathers involved in the weekend.  The weather was far from ideal on the Saturday, with very strong winds blowing.  It made the fishing tough, but some nice fish were still landed.  As well as the fishing, the group was involved in boat tube rides, milk crate climb, archery, abseiling, rock climbing and canoeing.  The girls also enjoyed toasting some marshmallows over the open fire, so there was plenty of activities to keep them busy.
