Upcoming & Past Weekends

Churchie Years 1-3 Father & Son Fishing Weekend #2 2015 Review

It’s always a great pleasure to host the Churchie boys. On 12-14 June, it was another Father & Son weekend for the Year 1-3 boys. Because of the demand, this was the second weekend for this age group. Everyone managed to catch plenty of fish. The catch comprised of mainly Australian bass, but there were 8 large eel-tailed catfish caught as well. All the catfish were released, but the morning’s catch of Australian bass were kept for dinner. The boys had the job of bread crumbing all the fillets during the lunch break. The fishing was red-hot during the Saturday afternoon session as well, with a number of bass hitting the 40cm mark. All fish were released. With a massive day of fishing on the Saturday, some of the group opted to be involved in archery and canoeing / kayaking for the Sunday morning session. But some of the group were keen to hit the water again. Regardless of the option taken, it was glorious weather and time well spent.

Thanks so much Steve, great photos and great memories for George, the boys really enjoyed the whole experience. You're very organized!! Thanks Cathie, Lindsay and George

Hi Steve, Thank you for the photos!! They are great. Even Fraser’s elder brother were a bit jealous after seeing the Bass! Fraser had another great time and it’s a credit to you and your team to deliver such a consistent product. All the best, Tom
