The Sunshine Coast Natural Beauty
Our beach camps are based at Alex Park which is only a few hundred metres to the patrolled Alexandra Headland beach. It's hard not to relax and totally immerse yourself in the natural beauty as you're catching a few waves, but there are so many other activities on offer too...the beach is just a bonus. It's also only a short walk to Cotton Tree where we explore the Maroochy River in boats with 6hp outboard motors, as well as stand up paddle boarding and canoeing. Schools also have the option of fishing off the bank at Cotton Tree or in the on-site lake at Alex Park, which is stocked with silver perch.
Get back to basics with a bush camp
If you're looking for something different....our bush camp programs offer a unique experience. Students fish from electric powered boats or boats with 6hp outboards for the senior school students. They love the independence of driving their own boat, but also love pulling in fish like this 55cm golden perch. Our camp base is Camp Laurence at Moogerah Dam, which sleeps 180 in cabins and has a number of camping locations nearby for our expedition campout programs.
