During the last week of November, Sports Tuition facilitated a 5-day, all fishing camp at Moogerah Dam for some Year 10 boys.
The catch of the week was this 55cm Australian bass. In twenty years of running freshwater fishing programs, this is the largest bass I have seen caught. It certainly was a fish of a life time for this young man. The boys also learned how to fillet a fish as well as many other fishing skills. The group had fish & chips for dinner twice during the week and employed catch and release for the rest of the week. During the week, the boys managed to catch hundreds of bass and a handful of good-sized yellowbelly.
